May 3rd New moon

Sorry about the messy photo this month but I'm tired. I started a fabric jar and it just happens to be behind the thread jar. The fabric jar is the one I got out to use if the thread jar was too small but I'm still managing to put more threads in.

April New Moon 3rd April

I can't believe that I'm still keeping up to date usually I forget after the second month so I'm finding this to be amazing. I have started a new jar but that one tends to have pieces of fabric not threads. In a previous life I did this with fabric and it was called 'Quilt Jelly'. This was not my name for it but the name given in the book. I ended up giving it to Mum as a joke gift that Christmas. She had a good laugh and decided not to put it on her morning toast...

TUSAL March Photo

Lots of white thread this month as I did some patchwork last Sunday but still lots of other colours. Soon small bits of fabric so the jar will end up to small sooner than expected. LOL

Golden Wedding Sampler

So here are two photos, one a bit more close, showing that I've done quite a bit of stitching since Jan 11th and that the mug of tea had no effect on the sampler.

Cross Stitch ATCs

This is an ATC that I made for a group member. The theme was 'Garnet'work  a play on blackwork and January's birthstne the garnet. I hope the lady that receives it thinks it's nice. I didn't realise how distracting the background that I photographed it on would be...

UFO's, PhD's and WIP's

What do UFOs, PhDs and WIPs all have in common? A stitcher that starts a new project BEFORE finishing the current one. I have heaps of xstitch, patchwork, knitting... that I have started but not finished. I am determined to finish at least one of these before July 15th 2011 as it is a sampler for my parents who celebrated their golden wedding July 15 2010. I don't want it to be a 51st Anniversary present!! However as I am going to be a Great Auntie in June I do need to start some new projects too better get statching...
